Ferrari 250PF Coupe

Ferrari 250PF Coupe

Very rare 1960 Ferrari 250 Pininfarina Coupe. Chassis number 1827.

Body is one if a reputed 18 built with Superamerica side vents in the front wings. Overdrive and disc brake model with 'outside plug' engine.

This matching numbers example in currently undergoing a 'body off' restoration at DTR.  Included in the detailed restoration is a full mechanical rebuild incuding detailed original restoration.

Special custom exhaust system. To be completed in origninal colour scheme of dark blue with 'Tobacco' hide.

Can be purchased reserved at a fixed price prior to completion. This, we are confident will be one of the best 250 PF's and will (we hope) be entered for the UK Ferrari Concours.

Pictured now with original wing vent in place. Leather quiltiing to tunnel and rear bench only. This will reluctantly be removed for Ferrari Classiche, as was not orignal to the car when it left the factory.

Just completing the phosphor -bronze bushes and shims for the front suspension on our lathe. Reproduction units were not correct size - so making in-house once again is the only way we can be sure that what we end up with is correct.

May 2013, doors being fitted up and chanelling for windows etc. repaired/ remade for smooth operation.

Engine fully re-built, re-machined by us and detailed by us. Difficult areas with these early Ferraris are small items such as fuel pipes and lines which have to be correct fitting and thread - all made by hand in-house at DTR. Fuel rail pictured during assembly prior to silver soldering and then chroming.

Interior rear sections made from pictures to correct spec as per orignal, hand made headlining, rebuilt seats and all other items hand made in- house.

Road tested for 250 miles without issue! Currently undergoing 'detailing'
