124 CS2 Spider. DTR performance engine and full body restoration.

124 CS2 undergoing extensive work including body restoration, full mechancal overhaul and performance engine rebuild.

Typically of all post 1978 124s the metalwork, whilst good, is rusting in all the usual places. Having been cherished by the same owner for over 20 years, he has (in his wisdom!) decided to have the body correctly restored before the inevitable tin worm gets the better of it.

As the engine was worn, at the same time, DTR will be upgrading to a lightened and balanced performance engine, with flowed head and replacement of injection with the original Abarth set up of IDF Webers.

We expect 135 - 140 BHP which should not place unnecessary strain on the rest of the car (which is also to be rebuilt) Completion August 2012.
