Model Abarth Simca
Year 1964

Purchased by us a few years ago, this original Abarth Simca 'long nose' had been unused for decades. Imported in the late 1960's by Radbourne Racing due to cancellataion of the racing programme, it was converted in period to a road car, as indeed most were. This was relatively straightforward, as they all started life as Simca 11 or 1200's  There is no Fiat connection to these cars, despite Abarth's long-standing relationship with the manufacturer and as such, we believe the  Simca 1200S is the most legitimate way to convert to road use.

This car would have been a 2000, an absolute screamer, but totally impractical on the road. The car we are offering has been the subject of a painstaking restoration by us over a 2 year period totalling around 2500 hours. The result is an exceptional car which still feels like it wants to be on the track. Rack and pinion steering and right hand drive, it needs nothing.

Ruluctantly offered for sale by us on behalf of the owner.
